World
famous Crusty Demons to unleash hell throughout
Regional Australia
Straight
from sell-out crowds in cities across India, New
Zealand, China, the US and Europe, tour
promoters Rush Sports and Events International
are delighted to announce the 2008 Crusty Demons
Unleash Hell Regional Tour.
The
greatest Crusty show ever kicks off in Canberra
on February 16, 2008 and will visit Warrnambool,
Launceston, Wollongong, Latrobe, Shepparton,
Wagga Wagga, Newcastle, Port Macquarie, Gosford,
Toowoomba, Gold Coast, Mackay, Darwin, Mt Isa,
Townsville and climaxing in Rockhampton on June
14.
Audiences
will witness history when the USA’s Scott
Murray performs the double back flip for the
first time anywhere outside the US. This
death-defying trick has only been successfully
performed once in competition, at the 2006 ESPN
X Games in Los Angeles. The double back flip
will have to be seen to be believed and Canberra
fans will be the very first to see it.
“We
are so stoked to be bringing this tour to
regional Australia. This is a world class show
designed to leave people gasping for breath. It
is all about adrenaline and is the most action
packed entertainment package you’ll ever
see,” said the promoter Michael Porra from
Rush Sports and Events International.
The
tour will feature the best line-up of all time
with seven of the world’s top ten riders
including world number one Nate Adams and 2007 X
Games gold medalist Adam Jones. Also joining
them will be Mike Mason and back flip
extraordinaire Jim McNeil, Scott Murray and
Nicky Danielson all direct from the USA.
Australia’s
number one Blake ‘Bilko’ Williams will be
joined by fellow Aussies Robbie Maddison (some
shows), Steve Mini, Matt
Schubring, Joel
Balchin, Cam Sinclair, Kain Saul and Jackson
Strong.
The Crusty’s will
unleash their biggest sound, light and
pyrotechnics show yet and the crowd can expect
freaks, stunts, the gorgeous Crusty babes and
the best riding ever seen in Australia!

The
world’s number one quad freestyler, Jon
Guetter, will be back with a bag of new tricks,
along with mini-bike madness and more than a few
surprises you will have to see to believe.
Fans
can expect to see more than 50 different tricks
performed at the shows including the most
difficult of all tricks, back flip combinations,
where riders perform various FMX tricks whilst
upside down in the middle of a back flip! These
include the nac flip, the side saddle lander
flip, heel clicker flip, cordova flip, lazy boy
flip, the 360 and the incredible ruler flip
where the rider hangs completely straight down
from the bike in the middle of a flip. Aussie
X-Games medalist Blake ‘Bilko’ Williams will
also perform the world’s only three part combo
– three separate freestyle tricks, during a
back flip!
Since
1994 the Crusty Demons video and DVD series has
become the biggest selling action sports series
of all time, creating FMX legends such as Seth
Enslow, Mad Mike Jones and Brian Deegan. Drawing
on this success, FMX and the Crusty Demons are
now the most popular and wanted of all the
action sports, globally.
The
live shows were created in 2003 and were an
instant hit with almost US$100 million in ticket
sales generated in the USA, Australia, New
Zealand and India. This makes them one of the
most successful action sports touring acts ever
to visit those countries.
Tickets
sales commence on November 26, 2007 through www.crusty.com
and through local outlets in each town.
