favorite from the start, the stunning Model Of The World Venezuela, Josabeth Rodriguez
stunned the judges at the Model Of The World 2001 World Final Competition in Perkins Park,
Stuttgart, Germany and ran away with the Model Of The World 2001 title and $30,000. |

The Model Of The World 2001 World Final took place on the evening of Sunday the 9th
December 2001 and was entered be thirty of the world's most beautiful models. Contestants
travelled from their home countries all around the world to take part in the prestigious
modelling competition.

Model Of
The World Venezuela, was delighted to win her place in the Model Of The World Competition
as the competition to get into is very high. The Model Of The World Competition is very
popular but is limited to taking only the top thirty models as the competition takes place
as a tour of Germany.
The judges had a very hard decision as the competition was extremely tough and the
contestants were all of a very high standard. In the end the results were very close with
just two points between Model of the World 2001, Josabeth Rodriguez and her first runner
up, Model of the World Paraguay Laura Martino.
Models from all around the world arrived in Frankfurt Airport, Germany on the 29th
November 2001 in preparation for the Model of The World 2001 World Final Competition.
The world's most spectacular models travelled from their home countries in order to take
part in Model of The World 2001 World Final Competition.
During their stay in Germany contestants travelled to the different cities of this
wonderful European country in order to see all the sights of Germany, take part in press
conferences and make TV appearances at the different German television stations.
They also got the chance to meet many European model scouts and also be treated like
superstars by the people of Germany .
The tour was a whirlwind of excitement with the contestants getting to see many different
places in Germany. Contestants stayed in many different luxury hotels whilst on tour and
will be accommodated during travel by the spectacular Model of The World 2001 tour bus.
The Model of The World 2001 tour took the contestants across the country of Germany before
reaching Stuttgart on the 6th December 2001 in order to take time for rehearsals for the
Model of The World 2001 World Final Competition which will take part in Perkins Park,
Stuttgart on the 9th December 2001.
The standards at the competition were all very high this year and Model of The World 2001
was set to be a very tough competition.
Many celebrity guests were set to attend the Model of The World 2001 World FInal
Competition and the event was also presented in three languages by three special VIP
comperes.
Model of The World 2001was a huge success and the Model of The World Organisation look
were pleased to announce our new winner, Miss Venezuela and also look forward to staging
photoshoots in Germany for the Miss Tourism World 2002 Official Calendar.
