since December of 1999.
How did you get involved in modeling?
Jacki came across internet modeling, and found it to look like fun..and decided to build a
site and set up our first shoot. Then things just went from there. Before we knew it, we
had a pager, a cell phone for receiving work calls and over 20 shoots booked in just one
month.
What types of modeling would you like to pursue?
We would like to continue magazine work.It's great for exposure and alot of fun as well.
We would also like to do commercials together (e.g. Double Mint Gum Commercial, Gap etc,.)
& Movies, Sit-Com's etc,. |
What advice would you offer to someone just starting out in modeling?
Jacki- I would point out that if it's something they are serious about, that time is the
most valuable thing ..that he/she have to be willing to work very hard. Those that are in
it for the fun, also work hard.. but don't tend to make it their first priority to keep
their schedules opened and their bodies in shape. It's always a great start to do learn as
much about the modeling industry and start asking theirself what goals they need to reach
to keep the determination alive. He/she would need to quickly learn about comp cards,
agencies, personal assistances, about professionalism, getting a domain name and email
services, what days/times to schedule shoots, how to attend interviews, what agencies to
apply for, what rates to demand, and so on. |
What
advice would you offer to someone just starting out in modeling?
Jodi- I would tell them to ask Jacki lol Cause she's the one that got us
started and who books our shoots and makes sure everything is up to date for us. She works
very hard doing so..luv ya sis! |
