A gruelling week of competition on the Gold Coast came to its climax at the Bartercard Miss Indy Australasian Grand Final at the Troccadero Entertainment Centre last Thursday night when the new Bartercard Miss Indy was announced.

Bartercard Miss Indy 2002 Bronte Kok handed over her crown to Lauren Lillie from the Sunshine Coast who was crowned Bartercard Miss Indy 2003 at 9pm in front of a full house.

The subsidiary awards of Miss Photographic went to Vicky-Lee McIntyre of New Zealand, and Miss Personality to Taryn Johanson of Cleveland.

Lauren along with 1st runner up Rebecca Lund of Ipswich and 2nd runner up Jennifer Hawkins of Newcastle were presented to the media in their swimwear and sash on Pit Lane early the following morning.

2003 Bartercard Miss Indy Lauren has won over $40 000 worth of cash and prizes, including a Jet Ski courtesy of Gold Coast Wave Runners, and a Promotional Contract to be an ambassador for Bartercard Australia.

Lauren took up her duties immediately when she was part of all the podium presentations and official events at a high-octane weekend on the racetrack at Honda Indy 300.
